Pope John Paul II’s Gospel of Life at 30 – A talk by Maria Steen

“Evangelium Vitae” (the ‘Gospel of Life’), Pope John Paul II’s great encyclical on “the Culture of Life” and the “Culture of Death” was published 30 years ago this year and greatly galvanised the pro-life movement worldwide. In this talk, leading Catholic commentator, Maria Steen discusses the enduring themes of the encyclical and how it is even more relevant today than when it was three decades ago. The talk was hosted by The Iona Institute.
