Attacks on religious believers under the guise of ‘human rights’ continue unabated. We keep tabs on these stories in the news section of our website. The sheer number of such cases is now frightening.
Here is an example [1] of yet another such case from the world capital of political correctness, Canada. Once again the Catholic Church has fallen foul of that country’s ‘human rights’ commissars.
Commenting on the case writer Michael Coren makes the observation, made before on this blog, that these constant attacks on religion by the State is a very serious violation of Church/State separation, but this time it is the State imposing its morality on the Church rather than the other way around. Not that such imposition has been unusual in Western history.
