THE IONA INSTITUTE’s next talk is being given by Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran on the topic, ‘How Should a Catholic Think About Politics?’

Today, many Catholics seem to completely separate their faith and their politics. But this is a false divide because the Gospel has much to say about the kind of society in which we ought to live and the Church has rich teachings about the common good which Catholics ought not to ignore when thinking about politics. Bishop Doran will discuss these issues in his talk.

If you would like to attend please email [email protected] or phone 01 6619 204.

Tea and coffee will be served afterwards as usual.
