Iona Institute representatives debate marriage and the Children and Family Bill

In the last few weeks Iona Institute representatives have been on a wide range of programmes debating the upcoming marriage referendum, the Children and Family Relationship Bill and surrogacy.

David Quinn debated Colm O’Gorman of Amnesty Ireland on The Pat Kenny Show. They debated the planned change to marriage was one of the most substantive ones to date with both sides giving a good account of themselves and a neutral presenter acting as host.

Dr John Murray and Ben Conroy appeared on the Vincent Browne Show in mid-week for a debate on same-sex marriage. There was nine representatives on each side. Among the others present was Petra Conroy of Catholic Comment who put in an excellent performance.
