The Iona Institute has won the annual ‘Lay Organisation of the Year’ Award from the Redemptorist publication, Reality.

The award ceremony was held yesterday. The award was given in recognition of the work The Iona Institute is doing in many fields but in particular the work we are doing in raising awareness of the practical benefits of religious practice.

In April we published a paper by Professor Patricia Casey on this subject and also held a conference on it. In subsequent interviews we reached an estimated one million people.
