The pro-life side had an excellent outing last night on RTE’s Claire Byrne Live. Maria Steen (pictured), the rest of the panel and every pro-life person in the audience was superb.

Despite the bias of much of the media, despite Google banning all referendum ads (to the delight of the Yes side), last night hundreds of thousands of members of the public will have heard that this debate is not about the hard cases. They heard that the vast majority of abortions take place on the healthy babies of healthy mothers.

They also heard that if we vote Yes, the unborn will lose ALL constitutional rights and politicians will have full liberty to legislate for abortion as they please.

The Yes side are up in arms about last night, which is a sure sign they know things didn’t go their way.
