This week The Irish Independent has been publishing the results of a survey of the attitudes of Ireland’s thirty- 
somethings. One of the more interesting things it reveals is that only 60pc of them are happy with their love lives.
In his column [1] in this week’s Irish Independent David Quinn wonders if part of the reason for this is an overemphasis on personal freedom by many people at the expense of commitment.
